Marketing Constraints

The marketing concept is the central theory of marketing which has emerged as the response of business to changes in the economic environment. The growth of manufacturing facilities backed by technological innovations on one part and increase in income and literacy on the part of consumers led to a condition of ‘choices’. The sellers’ response to the choices of the consumers and sellers’ preoccupation with consumer wants is the core of modern marketing or consumer-orientation. But consumer-orientation alone is not enough to make the firm successful in markets. Its internal organization must be attuned to the service of the consumer. A firm is tightly placed in a multiple corned environment consisting of internal and external resources on one part and controllable and uncontrollable variables, on the other. The success of the firm naturally depends on how these factors are harmonically combined to achieve the objectives of the firm.

Future of Education technology

As with other fields, education technology is going to witness a lot of change. We are going to see an increase in online courses, distance learning, web based courses and home schooling. Probably in future, schools will becomeFuture of Education technology centers where students will learn new activities and go for projects. Teachers will be required only for imparting social and moral skills rather than theoretical and technological knowledge as that will be available to students through computers. With the rapid expansion of internet, all the information which we need will be just a click away. It may not be a very healthy trend as schools give a child the basic foundation which is needed for life.

Buildings Shifting Shape

Technology changed our life dramatically and influenced many different areas of our daily living. One area which it didn’t influence that much is construction, as we still use many basic construction techniques which were used hundreds of years ago. This is about to change as there are some innovations approaching. One of the most interesting ones is a skyscraper which is dynamically shifting shape. It may sound unrealistic, but I ensure you that it is true and buildings built with such technology will last a long time. Additionally, they are quite fast to built. The only major drawback is the price, as those apartments will cost millions of dollars, so they won’t be easily accessible to an average family.

Firefox: Find Tool

Firefox has been chosen by many as their main browser, and while I think that Opera is more suited for this role, I also use Firefox for some parts of my work. Apart from being a secure browser, if you install the right plugins, one of the reasons why I like Firefox is that it offers a very handy “Find” tool. To take advantage out of this tool, you should go to Edit -> Find in This Page, and you are ready to go. You can also press Ctrl+F to open the “Find” tool as well. Once you opened it, you can search for any search terms you wish, and what is great about it, is that the find panel stays at the bottom of your surfing area, so you can use it whenever you want, without having to open it again. The search terms that you search for are going to be marked, which makes it easy to find whatever you are looking for. I have been using this useful option for a while now and always found it to be very helpful. In fact, I cannot imagine working without it, as it saves me a lot of time.

Name of Your Recycle Bin

Recycle Bin is a holding area for files and folders that are held before final deletion on a PC with Windows installed. You may sometimes delete some files accidentally, or even intentionally, and you may want to have them back. In such cases the Recycle Bin is very useful, as otherwise such files would be lost. I would like to give a tip related to the Recycle Bin, and it will be useful to you if you feel like changing the name of your recycle bin. You can rename it to whatever you want by following these easy steps:

1. Go to Start menu and click on Run.
2. Here type regedit.exe after which press Enter to find the regedit editor.
3. Next click to open the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT folder. Once you have done this, open the CLSID folder and then the {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} folder and then ShellFolder folder.
4. You will see the numbers “40 01 00 20?. Change them to “70 01 00 20?.
5. You will see the option to rename the recycle bin next time you switch on your computer. Just follow the steps that will be written on the screen.

One might wonder why bother with such changes? It is the same reason people make modifications to their car, even though it might not increase the performance. It is simply a fun thing to do, and if you manage to do it on your own, you will feel better about yourself. After all, making such modifications is a sign of being a proficient PC user.

Improving Your Slideshows

A lot of us had to do a PowerPoint presentation whether it was at school, university or work. There are many ways you can enhance your presentation and make it even better. From my experience I can say, that there is always something which you can improve in your presentation. Here it is how you can do it:
1. Do not ever read the content of the slides to your audience. This is my tip number 1 and the most important. I have been offended many times by that. Instead, try to describe the content of a particular slide in your own words. When you read the content, you prove that the topic that you are presenting is not interesting enough for you to talk about it.
2. Do not put too much text on one slide.
3. Rather than using full sentences, use bullet lists.
4. Watch out how big or small your font is. If it is too small, your audience might not be able to follow your presentation appropriately.
I like to give advice about presentations, because I find them very useful in many situations. I have also seen many presentations recorded with a camera and uploaded online.

Changing Your Homepage

The homepage is the page that opens automatically when you enter Internet Explorer or any other browser that has this feature. The tips I am going to share with you today are valid for Internet Explorer only. Also, if you are working, for example, in a computer network in a company sometimes you might not be able to change your homepage at all.
1. First, go to a webpage that you would like to set as your home page.
2. Copy the address of that website.
3. At the top of your browser you will see a tool bar. Go to Tools and select Internet Options.
4. In Internet Options look for Home Page. Replace the previous address with the one that you wish to paste.
5. Close the Internet Options by clicking OK button.

You should choose a homepage which you visit often, but it would be better if it wasn’t a page which takes a long time to load, because it is going to load each time you open your browser. I suggest you don’t make your homepage a website, which has flash elements, as they tend to use a lot of bandwidth and take a long time to load.
