Tips to avoid bad breath

Millions of people suffer from bad breath. The reason behind bad breath is bacteria. In order to get rid of bad breath, wash your mouth as soon as you wake up. This helps in washing away bacteria. Brush your teeth with warm water to remove bacteria. Try to avoid coffee. Avoid high protein foods like milk, cheese and other dairy products. Drink plenty of water to avoid bad breath. Water creates a bitter environment for bacteria, thus preventing bad breath. Oral hygiene does not mean brushing and flossing your teeth but also cleaning your tongue. Use a tongue scraper to clean your tongue. Visit your dentist to treat any existing diseases like gum bleeding. Do not use mouthwashes containing large amount of alcohol. Alcohol dries your mouth. Dry mouth is a perfect condition for the growth of bacteria. Wash your mouth with natural herbs like aloe vera and parsley. By eating fruits and vegetables like apple, cucumber and carrot, you mouth gets automatically cleaned. It removes plaque and food particles between your teeth and gums. Try to prepare your own toothpaste instead of using commercial toothpastes. Try to chew sugarless gum. Chewing cloves will relieve you from bad breath.
